The Lovers x Appleseed Tarot

Part of an ongoing series to recreate the Original Ride Waite Tarot Deck, replacing imagery with popular nerd culture such as video games, anime, comic books, and cartoons.

For The Lovers, I've chosen Deunan Knute and Briareos Hecatonchires from the classic 80's anime film Appleseed.

Hand printed on ~10.5x12.5" 30gsm kitakata rice paper. Signed and numbered edition of 30.

Note: All blocks are inked and pressed by hand, so each print contains slight variances in color and texture, and may show faint indentations in the margins where the paper was pressed over the edges of the block. This makes every print truly unique!
